Santuario della Madonna di Monte Castello
The pilgrimage church known as the Santuario della Madonna di Monte Castello is situated on a 700 m high rock that plunges almost vertically down into the depths. It was built in the 17th century on the ruins of a Scaliger castle. Inside, it features a gold plated altar and highly interesting frescoes. There is a monastery at the back of the church.

The visitors’ centre of the Alto Garda Bresciano national park is a kind of local heritage museum displaying lots of interesting things and curiosities from a considerable height above Lake Garda, Tignale and the national park. It casts light on the origins of Lake Garda, tells the history of local tourism and explores the culture surrounding Lake Garda. In addition it provides a fascinating insight into local flora.
