Holidays in Manerba at Lake Garda, Italy

Rocca di Manerba
The few remaining relics of the once striking Manerba Castle can be seen on a precipitous, 216 m high outcrop of rock. The castle was built in the 8th century by the Lombardians and completely laid to waste by the Venetians in the 18th century.

Church of Santa Maria in Valtenesi
Situated in the district of Pieve Vecchia, the church is the oldest Romanesque structure in the Valtenesi and functioned as the parish church of Manerba until 1722.

Parish church
Built in the 18th century, the parish church in Solarolo features exquisite frescoes on its interior as well as don’t-miss paintings by the artist Andrea Celesti.

Church of Santa Lucia
Equally worth visiting is the church of Santa Lucia in Balbina. It was built in the 15th century and features a number of impressive frescoes for the visitor.
