Sights in Rovereto at Lake Garda, Italy

Castle Rovereto
The Castle is located above the Piazza Podestà. The current structure of the castle is the result of the fortifications made by the Venetians. This is one of the best examples of late medieval Alpine fortress. From Castle there is a splendid view of the city, Vallagarina, the throat of Leno  and surrounding mountains.

The Historical Museum of the War of Rovereto
Inside the walls of the Castle of Rovereto there is the Historical Museum of War, in the city centre. Here you can admire numerous exhibits related to the war front of the First World War, photographic evidence and documents.

The Birthplace of philosopher and blessed Antonio Rosmini (1797-1855)
In building, you can admire the library, numerous paintings, the apartment and furnishings  of the philosopher. Everything is very well preserved.

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto (MART)
This museum is the largest museum built around the'900, was opened in 2002. It is a project of Mario Botta. The facade consists of two buildings : Alberti and Dell'Annona and once entered, we are facing a large dome that form a real square. The structure also houses the library and civic auditorium Fausto Melotti.
