Sailing

It’s true that sailing has largely contributed to the popularity of Lake Garda among young athletes. Yet, the sailing tradition here is much older. One of the famous historic sailing competitions is the “Centomiglia” regatta which takes place on the second Sunday in September. It starts in the marina of Bogliaco and runs over 100 miles (www.centomiglia.it).
