An afternoon in "Parco Natura Viva"

The "Parco Natura Viva"-Park is a zoological park with an affiliated Safari Park at Gardasee Lake, a must for every animal lover. To get a better impression of the interesting park, read this article or visit the website www.parconaturaviva.it.

We have visited both parks at a Sunday in April and spent there the whole afternoon. The zoological park  offers beside a big diversity of species also an opportunity to do a walk in a lovely hilly landscape. Highlight for the little ones are surely the petting zoo and the dinosaurian park in the faunistic park, where the kids can play archeologists.

After our tour we went to our car and spent the rest of our afternoon in the Safari Park (with closed windows!). But it wasn’t easy to enter in the zoo: at the gate we stood in traffic and also in the park we only came slowly along. Because of that we recommend to visit the Safari Park on weekdays. But if you visit it at a Sunday make it like we did: first zoo-visit than Safari Park. Personally I am a friend of fresh air, because of that I preferred the zoo, but it is doubtless a thrilling experience when a giraffe looks into your car!
